Penn’s Landing Engagement Session

Minutes before Thais and Mark’s engagement shoot, a photographer’s worst nightmare occurred. My tire basically exploded on I-95, less than a mile from Penn’s Landing where we planned on meeting. Luckily, I am close personal friends with Thais’s sister (and the shoots designated dog watcher!) and so the couple saved me on the side of the road, with Mark literally getting under my car to change my tire for me. I was so embarrassed and thankful for their kindness that, as usual, I was determined to make their shoot as fun and memorable as possible.

Their dogs were absolutely the star of the show during the entire hour long session. I mean, LOOK at them. Using the fun and vibrant backdrops that Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia has to offer made for some shots.
