Elysha and Matt tied the knot in front of their friends and family on a rainy spring day at the lovely Blue Heron Pines Golf Club in Egg Harbor, New Jersey. Elysha and her bridesmaids got ready in their bridal suite, with their hair and makeup done by the talented team at Kiss The Bride.
I took a few shots of Elysha’s dress in front of the vanity. Her dress was designed by Ti Adora by Allison Webb, and was purchased at Laura & Leigh Bridal in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. While Elysha and her maids got dressed, myself and the videographer (Danny Bennett Productions) went to find the perfect spot for some detail shots.
Before the first look, I took the bride and groom up separately for some getting ready shots in the bright cocktail hour room.
Elysha’s mom was very worried about crying her false lashes off, and of course handing her daughter her bouquet was the moment everyone got emotional! Her florals were provided by Lehigh Florist.
Matt had his best man help him into his jacket, and once we were all ready to go we got started on first look!
After their first look, they read their vows to each other. This was such a special, intimate moment between the two of them (and me of course 🤩).
Later in the day, we tried to sneak outside for some couple’s photos but the rain and wind were insane! We used Blue Heron Pine’s gorgeous room for the majority of their photos and snagged a few outside as well.
Their wedding party was pretty large and with the inclimate weather, we decided to take their group shots inside before the ceremony!
I got to capture the sweetest moments when Elysha gave her mother and grandmother their flowers as well.
Ceremony time! The officiant, Brian Schleper, was hilarious and started the ceremony with a “social media hour” so guests could snap a few photos before putting their phones away for the rest.
Elysha and Matt honored those who could not be there for their special day with flowers during their ceremony.
Elysha and Matt put so much effort and thoughtful touches into their decor.
Now its party time! Her bridesmaids entered with a round of shots and the groomsmen came in hot with a crazy lift before the new Mr. and Mrs. Anderson officially entered for their first dance.
After their dance, we heard speeches from the best man, maid of honor, and Elysha’s mom. Then, they danced the night away! Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, I am so thankful I was able to capture your day.
