One word to describe Kelsea and Jake’s wedding day in Philly? Perfect. From the weather to the thoughtful design, I had the BEST time celebrating their marriage. We started the day at a hotel in Old City with detail shots. Their wedding invitations were designed by Rebecca Mah, and they added such a fun element to their detail shots.
Kelsea’s dress was bought at Lovely Bride Philly and designed by Alexandra Grecco. Her makeup was provided by Makeup Kort and hair was done by Alexis Burkhardt at Mane Bridal Philadelphia.
First look time! We headed over to the historic 18th Century Garden in Old City to give the couple a chance to see each other and take some group shots.
After the first look, we stopped by the iconic Merchant’s Exchange building to do some couple’s portraits before their ceremony at The Shambles!
Time to get hitched. We took the trolley to The Headhouse Shambles for their ceremony. Their guests were greeted with classic decor, pastel florals and champagne on tap from Drinks with Daisy’s traveling tap trailer. The crew came down the aisle with a live violinist playing, and Jake’s brother acting as officiant.
After they tied the knot, we packed back into the trolley to head to the reception at La Peg. Kelsea and Jake have impeccable style, and their wedding planners Divas With The Details did an incredible job showcasing it. Their cakes were done by Second Daughter Baking Co.
Kelsea and Jake entered the reception and the party got started! After their first dances, Kelsea and Jake’s dads both gave a toast as well as their best man and maid of honor. We snuck out to Race Street Pier at sunset to grab a few more couple’s portraits, then cut the cake, and the rest was history! Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Stern!
