Winter Beach Session In Lewes, Delaware

If you couldn’t tell from my feed and branding, I’m a huge beach person. When fall started in 2020, I was not ready to be done with beach season. Being stuck inside quarantining during the early spring wasn’t easy, and with the winter approaching I wanted to hang onto summer as long as possible. I decided to offer some winter beach sessions in November to change up the fall scenery and relive the summer! Oriana and Ryan jumped at the opportunity to celebrate their third anniversary with some golden beachy photos. It was surprisingly nice out for November, I think it was at least 60 degrees and perfectly sunny. We couldn’t have picked a better day for the shoot!

The direct sunlight during the golden hour was a bit of a challenge to work with, but it made for some amazing backlighting. Once the sun went behind the dunes, we really made some magic.

My favorite part of this session is the color scheme they chose. I love the contrast of Oriana’s black dress and Ryan’s black shirt with the light sand. The blues of the ocean matched Oriana’s turquoise jewelry and both of their light blue eyes. This session was so much fun and I can’t wait to start the summer beach season for 2021! The price for a beach session is $350, which includes travel cost and a full hour of shooting. I love to do them at the New Jersey or Delaware shore, and I have a limited amount of session slots for this summer.
