The coolest part about their venue? It’s the place where Julia grew up, and the place her parents were also married. Her grandparents own a tree farm in Douglassville Pennsylvania, which has large fields of growing trees and a gorgeous barn. I was sooo excited to be able to explore the place that they’ll be getting married at, and I got a ton of photo ideas for the big day while we were there.
When I asked Julia what she thinks her favorite thing about Tyler is and vice versa, she said “Tyler is very loyal and caring. He tries to do small things to take care of me. Tyler will probably say that I’m unconditionally loving and he loves my cooking!”.I love adding in unique elements to my engagement shoots. I really want the photos to feel like “you”, so when I found out that Tyler and Julia love having sushi dates I knew we should incorporate that somehow. We set up this mini picnic with sushi and flowers to have a quick break and take some fun pictures.
After sushi, we walked to her parent’s side of the property and finished our photos. I felt so bad about the weather and location change that I promised we would get a round two for beach photos, but I think these ones came out just as good. Now they’ll have photos in two special spots! Julia and Tyler- thanks so much for going with the flow with me, and I absolutely can’t wait for round two (and your wedding!).
